The band's sixth studio album was voted 1985 album of the year in the Village Voice Pazz & Jop critics poll and remains their studio set at over two million copies. Self-produced after the Brian Eno years, it traded afro-funk for Americana-flavoured pop, with steel guitar colouring the sound. The cover art by outsider artist Howard Finster was named album cover of the year by Rolling Stone.

About This Pressing

Standard black-vinyl pressing in a picture sleeve reproducing the original artwork.

Technical Specifications

Format: Black Vinyl LP (Standard Sleeve — 9 tracks) │ Label: Sire Records (2023) │ Original Release: 1985

Tracklist

Side A
A1.
