Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to the following countries:

  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Australia
  • New Zealand

If you are located outside these regions and wish to place an order, please contact us before purchasing. We will assess your location and provide a personalised shipping quote where possible.


Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays.

As a specialist curator, many of the titles we carry are sourced directly from labels, pressing plants, and distributors around the world. While most orders are fulfilled from existing stock, certain high-demand or limited-edition titles may require additional sourcing time. In these cases, we will contact you by email with an update.

We believe in doing things properly rather than quickly. Every order is individually checked before it leaves us — because your collection deserves nothing less.


Packaging Standards

We understand that for collectors, condition matters. Every order is packed using:

  • Heavy-duty reinforced cardboard mailers
  • Additional stiffeners to prevent bending and corner damage
  • Protective inner wrapping for CDs and Blu-ray titles
  • Clear fragile labelling on all packages

Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections on outer shrink wrap (such as small corner creases) are common across the industry and do not affect the playback or condition of the product itself.


Shipping Rates & Carriers

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. We work with multiple reliable carriers to offer competitive rates — you pay only what is necessary.

A tracking number will be sent to your registered email address once your order has been dispatched.


Estimated Delivery Times

The following are estimated timeframes from the date of dispatch. Please note these are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed.

  • Canada: 3–5 business days (varies by province)
  • United States: 3–8 business days (varies by state)
  • United Kingdom: 4–8 business days
  • Australia: 9–13 business days (Standard) · 4 business days (Express)
  • New Zealand: 7–14 business days (Standard) · 1–2 business days (Express)

Actual delivery times may be affected by customs clearance, public holidays, carrier capacity, or other circumstances beyond our control. Processing time of 2–5 business days applies before dispatch — please factor this into your expected delivery window.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Catalog To Music has no control over these fees and cannot predict or be held liable for them.

We strongly recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering if you are uncertain about applicable fees.

As a general reference (always verify locally — thresholds are subject to change):

  • United States: As of August 2025, all commercial imports are subject to customs assessment regardless of order value.
  • United Kingdom: Import VAT (20%) applies to orders over GBP £135.
  • European Union: VAT applies to all orders regardless of value.
  • Australia: GST (10%) applies to all imported goods.
  • Hong Kong: No import duty or VAT on most personal goods.

Catalog To Music declares all shipments accurately and at full declared value. We are unable to under-declare package values or mark orders as "gifts" for customs purposes.

If a package is refused at customs or returned to us due to unpaid duties or recipient refusal, the original shipping cost is non-refundable. A 20% handling fee plus all return carrier costs will be deducted from any applicable store credit.


DVD & Blu-ray Regional Compatibility

Please be aware that DVD and Blu-ray discs are encoded with regional restrictions. Most of our disc inventory is sourced from North American releases (DVD Region 1 / Blu-ray Region A) unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

It is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify regional compatibility before purchasing. Catalog To Music cannot accept returns or issue refunds for discs that are incompatible with a buyer's region or playback equipment.

4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs are region-free and compatible worldwide. If you are unsure about a specific title, please email us before ordering.


Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete at checkout. Catalog To Music cannot be held responsible for orders dispatched to an address provided incorrectly by the customer.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or an unclaimed parcel, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-delivery. Original shipping fees are non-refundable in these circumstances.


Split Shipments

For orders containing multiple items, we may dispatch in separate packages to ensure safe transit. Each package will carry its own tracking number. No additional shipping charges will be applied to the customer for standard split shipments within the same order.


Carrier Liability & Disclaimer

Once an order has been handed to the carrier, Catalog To Music is not liable for:

  • Transit delays caused by the carrier, weather, or external disruptions
  • Loss or damage occurring after dispatch
  • Delays caused by customs inspection or clearance

In the event of a lost or significantly delayed shipment, please contact us and we will liaise with the carrier on your behalf where possible. Outcomes are subject to individual carrier policies and are not guaranteed.
