Deadbeat is the fifth studio album by Australian psychedelic music project Tame Impala (Kevin Parker), released October 17, 2025 via Columbia Records — the band’s first album on their new label. Parker sculpts a collection of club-psych explorations inspired by Western Australia’s rave scene and bush doof culture, recasting Tame Impala as a “future primitive rave act.” Twelve songs crafted with a newfound embrace of spontaneity, including lead singles End of Summer and Loser (ft. Stranger Things actor Joe Keery in the music video). This follows the five ARIA Award-winning The Slow Rush (2020).
