Eat a Peach is the third studio album by The Allman Brothers Band, released February 12, 1972. The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and is certified Platinum. Produced by Tom Dowd. A hybrid of studio recordings (with and without Duane Allman) and live recordings from the band’s famed 1971 Fillmore East performances. The final album to feature guitarist Duane Allman, who died in a motorcycle accident during recording. Features the 34-minute Mountain Jam. 10 tracks.

About This Pressing

This is a limited 2LP 180-gram audiophile pressing, remastered from original analog tapes by Kevin Reeves to 192kHz/24-bit, then cut at Abbey Road Studios onto copper plates using their Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) lathe for superior fidelity. Original artwork faithfully reproduced. Released Mercury / UMe, July 22, 2016.
