About This Album

Billy Joel's Streetlife Serenade on Vinyl LP (Columbia, 2024, Billy Joel 50 Years reissue) presents the piano man's third studio album as a standalone 2024 pressing. The ten songs run from the jaunty Root Beer Rag and the wry hit The Entertainer to Los Angelenos and the stately closer Souvenir. Cut in Los Angeles with producer Michael Stewart, the album carries two instrumentals, including the cinematic The Mexican Connection. This 2024 reissue revives the 1974 original as part of the series marking fifty years of Joel's solo career.
