About This Album

Billy Strings's HOME on Black Vinyl 2LP (Rounder Records, 2019) is the guitarist's Grammy-winning breakthrough, his second solo studio album. Featuring Taking Water, Away From the Mire, Must Be Seven with Molly Tuttle on backing vocals, and the sprawling seven-minute title track, the record fuses flat-picking fire with psychedelic exploration. HOME won Best Bluegrass Album at the 2021 Grammys and was named Billboard's Top Bluegrass Album of 2020 after 77 weeks on the bluegrass chart. A landmark where bluegrass tradition meets fearless invention.
