Be Right Here is the eighth studio album by Atlanta-based Southern rock quintet Blackberry Smoke, released February 16, 2024 — hailed as “the reigning heavyweight champions of Southern rock” (No Depression). Produced by Grammy-winning Dave Cobb, the follow-up to 2021’s chart-topping You Hear Georgia. The band — Charlie Starr (vocals/guitar), Richard Turner (bass/vocals), Brit Turner (drums), Paul Jackson (guitar/vocals), Brandon Still (keyboards) — delivers a Dixie-fried groove of soul and album rock, with background vocals from The Black Bettys. Metacritic 84 (“universal acclaim”). Poignantly, this is the final album with drummer and band co-founder Brit Turner, who passed away on March 3, 2024. 10 tracks.
