About This Album

Bruce Springsteen's Darkness On The Edge Of Town on 180-gram vinyl LP (Sony Legacy, 2015 reissue of the 1978 classic). Standouts include the anthemic Badlands, the highway epic Racing in the Street and The Promised Land. Springsteen's fourth studio album arrived after a three-year legal battle with his former manager, and it held its place on the charts for 97 weeks with uniformly glowing reviews. Darker and leaner than Born to Run, it cemented his standing as the voice of working-class America. This 2015 pressing recreates the original LP sleeve with heavyweight vinyl.
