About This Album

Carole King's Really Rosie on black vinyl LP (Legacy, 2025, 50th Anniversary edition) pairs King's warm piano-pop with Maurice Sendak's playful, subversive lyrics. Highlights include the cheeky Pierre, the bittersweet The Ballad of Chicken Soup and the joyful singalong Really Rosie. First premiered as a CBS animated special in February 1975, it returns on vinyl for the first time in fifty years. Produced by Lou Adler, it arrives in a gatefold sleeve — a family treasure made for collectors of every age.
