Station to Station is the tenth studio album by David Bowie, originally released January 23, 1976 via RCA Records. Recorded at Cherokee Studios, Hollywood with co-producer Harry Maslin. Widely regarded as one of the greatest albums ever made, it marked the birth of Bowie’s Thin White Duke persona and served as a bridge between the "plastic soul" of Young Americans (1975) and the experimental Berlin Trilogy (Low, Heroes, Lodger). Features the singles Golden Years, TVC15, and Stay. 6 tracks (38:18).
About This Pressing
To mark the 50th Anniversary, this limited-edition half-speed mastered LP was cut by John Webber at AIR Studios London on a customised Neumann VMS80 lathe with recapped electronics. Audio sourced from 192kHz restored masters of the original Hit Factory master tapes, with no additional processing applied. Content uses the 2016 remaster. Rhino / Parlophone, January 23, 2026.
