Deftones - Around The Fur [180g Vinyl LP]
About This Album
Originally released in 1997, Around The Fur is the second studio album by the American alternative metal band Deftones. This 2011 reissue is pressed on 180-gram vinyl, capturing the raw, muscular yet melodic sound that defined the late 90s heavy music scene.
Featuring the singles "My Own Summer (Shove It)" and "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)," the album showcases Chino Moreno’s unique vocal style ranging from breathy whispers to powerful screams. It remains a foundational record for the nu-metal and alternative metal genres.
