About This Album

Dolly Parton's Jolene on black vinyl LP (Columbia Nashville / Sony Music, 2019 reissue of the 1974 classic). The immortal title track and the original I Will Always Love You stand alongside When Someone Wants to Leave and Early Morning Breeze. Parton's thirteenth solo album, it carried her second #1 country single, with the title song later becoming a moderate pop hit and one of her signature songs. Recorded at RCA's Nashville Sound Studios with producer Bob Ferguson, these ten tracks capture Dolly's storytelling at its sharpest. This 2019 pressing brings the full album back to vinyl in a faithful single-sleeve edition.
