About This Album

Eric Clapton's Slowhand on 180g Vinyl LP (Polydor, 2012 35th Anniversary edition) is the blues-rock landmark behind Cocaine, Wonderful Tonight and Lay Down Sally. Produced by Glyn Johns and cut at London's Olympic Studios in May 1977, it reached #2 on the Billboard 200 — held off only by the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack — and has since gone 3x Platinum in the US. Marcy Levy shares co-lead vocals on the epic The Core, with saxophone from Mel Collins. This anniversary pressing is remastered from the original analog masters and housed in a gatefold sleeve.
