Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape [120g Black Vinyl 2LP]
About This Album
Foo Fighters's The Colour And The Shape on 120-gram black vinyl 2LP (RCA, 2011 reissue, double-vinyl edition). Everlong, Monkey Wrench and My Hero anchor the set, with Walking After You closing in quiet devastation. Nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album and the band's record in the US, it peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and is certified Platinum. Dave Grohl recorded the 1995 debut almost entirely alone; this 1997 follow-up is the first true Foo Fighters band album, its therapy-session sequencing born from his divorce. The 2011 RCA/Legacy reissue spreads the Gil Norton-produced classic across two black vinyl discs.
