The Fall is the fourth studio album by virtual band Gorillaz, first released December 25, 2010 as a surprise download gift to fan club members, followed by an official release on April 19, 2011. The album was entirely recorded on an iPad by Damon Albarn during the 32-day North American leg of the Escape to Plastic Beach World Tour — making it widely recognised as the world’s first iPad album. Features collaborators Bobby Womack and Paul Simonon of The Clash. 15 tracks. Peaked at #12 UK and #24 Billboard 200.
