About This Album

Gorillaz' sixth studio album, originally released in 2018. Arriving barely a year after the sprawling Humanz — a breezier, more focussed, and more intimate record produced by James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode). Conceived largely on tour and in hotel rooms across the world, it delivers synth-pop, psychedelic funk, and Damon Albarn's most melodic writing since Demon Days. Unlike the guest-heavy Humanz, The Now Now features just three collaborators across 11 tracks: George Benson on Humility, and Snoop Dogg & Jamie Principle on Hollywood.
