About This Album

Grateful Dead's Dead Set on vinyl 2LP (Grateful Dead Records, 2024) is the 2024 remaster of the band's seventh live album, drawn from the September–October 1980 Warfield Theatre and Radio City Music Hall runs. It includes Fire on the Mountain, Franklin's Tower, Brokedown Palace and Friend of the Devil, newly remastered by Grammy-winning engineer David Glasser and produced for release by archivist David Lemieux. The electric companion to 1981's acoustic Reckoning — Jerry Garcia reckoned a single fat electric album would have held "two songs on a side."

About This Pressing

2024 remaster on double vinyl — 15 tracks from the 1980 Warfield and Radio City concerts, newly remastered for this edition.
