About This Album

Jimi Hendrix's Blues on Black Vinyl 2LP (Legacy, 2010 gatefold edition of the 1994 compilation). Reissued as part of the Hendrix family's 2010 remaster project, it gathers eleven essential blues recordings, from the acoustic Hear My Train A Comin' that opens the set to the electric Hear My Train A Comin' that closes it. Along the way come Red House, Voodoo Chile Blues, Born Under A Bad Sign and Mannish Boy. Certified platinum in the US in 2001, this edition pairs the remastered recordings with an expanded booklet in the gatefold.
