About This Album

Judas Priest's Stained Class on Black Vinyl LP (Sony Music, 2017, 180g reissue) brings the British legends' landmark fourth studio album back to wax. Key tracks include the speed-metal blueprint Exciter, the epic Beyond the Realms of Death and the title cut Stained Class, alongside their charged cover of Spooky Tooth's Better by You, Better Than Me. The 1978 original was the first Judas Priest album to dent the Billboard 200 and was later certified gold in the US. Produced by Dennis MacKay, it set the template for the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. This 2017 reissue is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and includes a download insert.
