About This Album

Kenny Wayne Shepherd revisits his debut with Ledbetter Heights: The 30th Anniversary Sessions, a new recording of the twelve-song collection that introduced his blues-rock guitar work. Noah Hunt handles lead vocals, bringing the songs into the sound of Shepherd’s established band rather than simply remastering the 1995 recordings. Born With a Broken Heart, Deja Voodoo and the title track sit alongside the extended While We Cry (Live), offering a familiar sequence heard through a different stage of the guitarist’s career.
