Alive or Just Breathing is the second studio album by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage, originally released May 21, 2002 via Roadrunner Records. Widely regarded as one of the most influential and important metalcore albums of all time — a genre-defining landmark that shaped the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. This album featured original vocalist Jesse Leach (who later returned to the band). Includes the classic My Last Serenade, plus Fixation on the Darkness, Life to Lifeless, and Numbered Days. 12 tracks.
