About This Album

A Matter of Time is the third studio album by Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey, released 2025. A beautiful of introspection about the anguish that comes with life and love. Laufey teams with producers Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner (The National) to break the expectations she set for herself, serving up a transcendent sound of jazz and classical-infused pop. Her journey began playing cello with the Iceland Symphony as a teen before studying at Berklee. 14 tracks.
