About This Album

Leonard Cohen's The Future on Vinyl LP (Columbia, 2017, EU import) is the late poet's brooding 1992. Highlights include the title track, Waiting for the Miracle (co-written with Sharon Robinson), Anthem and Closing Time. Written as the Berlin Wall fell and Los Angeles burned, the nine-song, hour-long album is Cohen at his most prophetic. Double platinum in Canada and winner of the 1993 Juno for Best Male Vocalist.
