The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou Original Soundtrack accompanies Wes Anderson’s 2004 film of the same name. Produced by Mark Mothersbaugh, Robert Casale, and Wes Anderson. The soundtrack is celebrated for featuring Brazilian musician Seu Jorge’s intimate acoustic Portuguese-language renditions of David Bowie songs recorded throughout the film, alongside Mark Mothersbaugh’s original score, and classic tracks by David Bowie, Scott Walker, The Zombies, and Joan Baez. A more complete collection of Seu Jorge’s Bowie covers appears on the companion album The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions Featuring Seu Jorge (2005). 20 tracks. Released December 14, 2004 via Hollywood Records.
