Mac Miller - Balloonerism [CD]
Mac Miller - Balloonerism [CD]
About This Album
Balloonerism is the seventh studio album by Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller (Malcolm McCormick), and his second posthumous album following his death on September 7, 2018. Released January 17, 2025 — exactly five years after the release of his first posthumous album Circles (2020). Recorded between 2013–2014 at The Sanctuary in Los Angeles alongside his mixtape Faces, it was a project of deep personal importance to Mac but was shelved as subsequent albums took precedence. Unofficial versions circulated online for years. Features SZA (on DJ's Chord Organ) and Mac's alter ego Delusional Thomas. Produced by Larry Fisherman (Mac Miller) with Thundercat, Jameel & Ronald Bruner Jr., and Taylor Graves. 14 tracks, 58:43. Nominated for Grammy Award for Best Recording Package at the 68th Grammy Awards. Accompanied by an animated short film on Prime Video directed by Samuel Jerome Mason.
