About This Album

Mad Season’s Above on 180g black vinyl 2LP (Columbia / Legacy, 2025 expanded edition of the 1995 album) is the only studio album from the Seattle supergroup, pairing Alice in Chains’ Layne Staley (vocals and cover art) with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Screaming Trees’ Barrett Martin and John Baker Saunders. Home to River of Deceit and Long Gone Day, it is RIAA Gold, and this edition adds five bonus recordings, including three unfinished second-album songs with new Mark Lanegan vocals.
