About This Album

Live at Montreux is a collaborative live album by jazz trumpeter Miles Davis and conductor Quincy Jones, recorded at the 1991 Montreux Jazz Festival and released via Warner Bros. Records in 1993. A collaboration revisiting classic Gil Evans arrangements Miles originally recorded decades earlier — rare for Miles to look back, making this one of his final recordings.
