About This Album

Cancionera is a studio album by acclaimed Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Lafourcade, released July 11, 2025 via Sony Music Entertainment México / Sony U.S. Latin. Described as a musical and visual manifesto born from Lafourcade’s desire to explore the duality of her artistic self and to transform music into a space of wonder. Recorded in full takes, live and entirely on analog tape, the album was produced by Natalia Lafourcade alongside Adan Jodorowsky. The songs move between original compositions and two reinterpretations of traditional Mexican repertoire, creating a continuous dialogue between the intimate and the collective, the ancient and the contemporary. Guest artists include Israel Fernández, Diego del Morao, El David Aguilar, Hermanos Gutiérrez, and the Soundwalk Collective. A multiple Latin Grammy and Grammy-winning artist, Lafourcade is one of the most celebrated voices in Latin American music. 14 tracks (including 2 acoustic bonus versions).
