Oasis’ third studio album Be Here Now on remastered 180-gram black double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve (Big Brother Recordings; originally released August 21, 1997) — produced by Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris, it expands the band’s Britpop sound with layers of guitars, orchestration and extended arrangements. D’You Know What I Mean? opens the record on a grand scale, while Stand By Me and Don’t Go Away provide more direct melodic moments, and All Around the World stretches the album’s ambitions further before its closing reprise. Johnny Depp plays slide guitar on Fade In-Out.
