About This Album

Patti Smith Group's Easter on 180g vinyl LP (Arista, 2015) reissues the band's landmark 1978 studio album. Produced by Jimmy Iovine at New York's Record Plant, the set pairs the Springsteen co-write Because the Night with Till Victory, Ghost Dance and the epic title track Easter. Lynn Goldsmith's cover photograph fronts a record blending punk fire with poetry and gospel-tinged rock. This 2015 reissue presses all eleven tracks on 180-gram vinyl.
