About This Album

Pink Floyd’s At Pompeii – MCMLXXII arrives as a 180-gram black double vinyl release (May 2, 2025, Pink Floyd Records / Legacy Recordings) — the audio companion to Adrian Maben’s groundbreaking 1972 concert film shot among the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. The audio has been digitally remastered and given a brand-new stereo mix by Steven Wilson (the film itself was restored from the recently rediscovered original 35mm negative), featuring Echoes (Parts 1 & 2), One of These Days and Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun.

About This Pressing

180g Black Vinyl 2LP in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves and a large fold-out poster, billed as the first official vinyl edition of the Pompeii concert audio. Includes two bonus tracks: an alternate take of Careful with That Axe, Eugene and a previously unreleased unedited, extended version of A Saucerful of Secrets. Note: the Atmos and 5.1 mixes and the film itself are on the separate Blu-ray edition and are not included in this vinyl set.
