Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London. The album marks the band’s first collaboration with a full orchestra and choir. The title suite, Atom Heart Mother (23 minutes, 42 seconds), takes up the entirety of Side A. Co-written with Ron Geesin. Produced by Pink Floyd. 5 tracks. The stark cover — a cow in a field with no text — was designed by Hipgnosis and was the first Pink Floyd cover without any band information.
