About This Album

Playboi Carti's debut commercial mixtape on vinyl LP. Playboi Carti (2017) is a founding document of cloud rap and trap minimalism — the album's atmospheric production, handled primarily by Pi'erre Bourne with contributions from Southside, Hit-Boy, Harry Fraud, and Jake One, prioritises mood, rhythm, and ad-lib-driven performance over lyrical density, with a hazy and hypnotic energy that proved enormously influential.

Executive produced by A$AP Rocky. Features Magnolia, Location, Wokeuplikethis* (feat. Lil Uzi Vert), Lookin (feat. Lil Uzi Vert), and New Choppa (feat. A$AP Rocky). Released via AWGE / Interscope Records, vinyl edition 2017.
