The Getaway is the eleventh studio album by Red Hot Chili Peppers, released June 17, 2016 via Warner Bros. Records. The band’s first album produced entirely by Danger Mouse (Brian Joseph Burton), with mixing by Nigel Godrich (Radiohead’s longtime collaborator). Recorded at The Sound Factory, Hollywood. Features 13 tracks (53:41) including singles Dark Necessities, Go Robot, Sick Love (featuring Elton John), and Goodbye Angels. Marks the final album with guitarist Josh Klinghoffer before John Frusciante’s return in 2019.
