About This Album

Soundgarden’s Superunknown on black vinyl 2LP (A&M Records, 2014 20th Anniversary remaster of the 1994 album) is the band’s fourth album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went multi-platinum, powered by Black Hole Sun, Spoonman and Fell on Black Days. It won two Grammy Awards. Recorded in Seattle with producer Michael Beinhorn, it pairs Chris Cornell’s four-octave voice with Kim Thayil’s serpentine riffs, and this anniversary edition closes with the bonus track She Likes Surprises.
