About This Album

Stone Temple Pilots's Core on vinyl LP (Atlantic, 2017 remaster of the 1992 debut) brings the grunge-era classic back in newly remastered sound. The album peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, was certified 8× platinum by the RIAA, and earned the band the 1994 Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance for the smash Plush. Key tracks include Sex Type Thing, Wicked Garden and Creep, driven by Scott Weiland's unmistakable vocals and producer Brendan O'Brien's muscular touch. This single-LP edition carries the 2017 remaster that anchored the band's 25th-anniversary reissue campaign.
