About This Album

Styx's seventh studio album on 180-gram vinyl LP. The Grand Illusion (1977), produced by Styx themselves at Pumpkin Studios in Chicago, cemented the band's signature arena rock sound: grand melodic hooks and interlocking vocal harmonies from Dennis DeYoung, Tommy Shaw, and James J.Y. Young, balancing pop accessibility with progressive ambition.

Features Come Sail Away, Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man), The Grand Illusion, Superstars, Man in the Wilderness, and Castle Walls. Released via A&M Records, 2015.
