About This Album

Talking Heads's Fear Of Music on 180g black vinyl LP (Rhino Records, 2013) is the 180-gram reissue of the band's third studio album, originally released in August 1979 on Sire. Co-produced by Brian Eno with the quartet and recorded in New York City between April and May 1979, the album yielded the singles I Zimbra, Cities and Life During Wartime. The eleven tracks run from the ethno-Afropop experiment of opener I Zimbra through Mind, Paper and Heaven, closing with Drugs. This edition keeps the original LP replica packaging with its printed lyric inner sleeve.
