About This Album

Pornography is the fourth studio album by British rock band The Cure, originally released in 1982 via Fiction Records. Produced by Phil Thornalley and The Cure. Considered the band’s darkest and most disturbing work — a relentless, uncompromising sonic attack that cemented The Cure’s role in the emerging gothic rock genre. The album also marked the first time Robert Smith and the band debuted their signature look of red lipstick and big hair. Features 8 tracks including opener One Hundred Years and single The Hanging Garden. Members: Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Lol Tolhurst.
