The Cure - Seventeen Seconds (Remastered) [180g Black Vinyl LP]
About This Album
The Cure's Seventeen Seconds on 180g black vinyl LP (Rhino, 2016, 180-gram remastered reissue). The band's second album, released 22 April 1980, defined their gloomy post-punk sound with standouts like A Forest, Play For Today and the hypnotic title track. A Forest became the band's first UK top-40 single. It is the only Cure album to feature keyboardist Matthieu Hartley, and much of it was written by Robert Smith on a Hammond organ at his parents' home. This US Rhino reissue presents the 2005 remaster on 180-gram vinyl.
