Sam's Town (October 2, 2006) is the Las Vegas band's heartland rock statement, produced by Flood (New Order, U2) and Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters) alongside the band. Over 4.5 million copies sold worldwide. Brandon Flowers named the album after the Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, visible from bandmate Mark Stoermer's childhood bedroom window.

Influenced by U2, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and ELO, the album contains some of The Killers' most enduring tracks: When You Were Young, Read My Mind, Bones, For Reasons Unknown, Bling (Confession of a King), and The River Is Wild. Released via Island Records, October 2017.
