Step into a world of spiraling terror with the official Uzumaki Anime Series Soundtrack. Based on Junji Ito’s iconic 1998 horror manga, the anime (dir. Hiroshi Nagahama, prod. Adult Swim & Production I.G, with Ito’s blessing) follows the residents of Kurozu-Cho as their lives are consumed by an enigmatic spiral curse. Grammy-winning composer Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, Color Out of Space) delivers a mesmerizing score using his unique circular-breathing technique with layers of woodwinds and strings — conjuring an otherworldly, swirling soundscape. 13 tracks.

About This Pressing

180-gram Black & White Spiral Picture Disc LP — each side features the iconic spiral. The jacket is adorned with a new original art piece illustrated by Junji Ito exclusively for this release, plus a dual-sided 12"×12" premium art lithograph insert and a classic obi strip. Milan Records (Sony Masterworks), November 15, 2024. Note: as with most picture discs, some surface noise is inherent to the format; several owners also report the disc weighs closer to 140g than the advertised 180g.
